Pool Operating Hours
Normal pool operating hours for the 2013 season are:
May 25 – June 16
12:00 Noon – 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, Sunday
11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Holidays
June 17 – September 2
11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday, Holidays
12:00 Noon – 9:00 p.m. Sundays
Certain activities (swim team practice, swim lessons, etc.) may take place outside of normal operating hours; however, the pool is not open to the membership during these times. Also, certain sections of the facility may be closed to members due to special events (swim meets, special events, etc.).
If weather, staff availability, and budget permit, the WRA board may elect to keep the pool open for one or two additional weekends in September. If the pool will be open, the website will be updated with the information, signs will be posted in the pool house, and the sign at the corner of Dalebrook Drive and Waynewood Boulevard will show the dates and hours.

The Waynewood Recreation Association pool complex consists of a park and playground, athletic fields, 3 pools, lighted tennis courts, and a basketball court. The pool and tennis courts are for members only. For information on becoming a member, visit the Membership page. If you have questions or concerns about the pool, feel free to contact the WRA Pool Chairman.
The WRA has continued its contract with High Sierra Pools to provide pool management services for the 2012 season. For more information about High Sierra Pools, go to their website – www.highsierrapools.com. The WRA board, consisting of nine volunteer pool members, strives to provide a wonderful experience for the members – a clean, safe, well-run facility, with activities for both children and adults.
All guests to the pool will be asked to sign in at the front gate. If you are bringing guests, be prepared to pay by check (we cannot accept non-member checks – this is an IRS requirement). Guest fees are $2 per day, and guest pass booklets are available for purchase from the pool manager, or the Business Manager. The booklets contain 10 passes for $17.
If you have an out-of-town house guest, or a nanny, you may purchase a week-long, month-long, or season long guest pass. You may add out-of-town parents and grandchildren to your membership as associate members. Extended family members that live in the local area may not be added to your membership. Please contact the Membership Manager for more information.
For the safety and mutual enjoyment of all members, the WRA has established Pool Rules. Please take the time to read them.
Pool Activities
The WRA hosts many pool activities. Children up through age 18 might be interested in joining the Waynewood Dolphins Swim Team. There are also Diving Lessons to consider. Adults looking for organized pool exercise might like to try Aquafit water aerobics, or Masters Swimming.
High Sierra Pools, our pool management company, will conduct swim lessons for our younger swimmers throughout the summer.
