Reserve fields and facilities
Thanks to the hard work of the WRA Committee on Outside Use of Facilities, the Board has a documented set of guidelines to use in evaluating reservation requests. In order to reserve a field, or host an event, you will need to fill out one of the forms below (forms are also available on the Forms page) and email it to the Vice President or the Business Manager, or mail it to the Business Manager at 1132 Neal Drive, Alexandria, VA 22308. We will review your request quickly, and let you know if the facility is available for your event. If you have any questions, please contact the Vice President, or call the business office at (703) 780-7565.
Please Note: Office parties, purely commercial activities open to the general public, and profit-making activities of outside organizations will not be authorized (except for officially invited businesses providing goods and services to WRA members).
Family Events: If you are a WRA member planning a family event, such as a birthday party or family reunion, please use the Request by WRA Family Group form. The picnic tables are first-come, first-served. If your group will be larger than 20, or if you intend to use the pool, you will need to fill out a reservation request. If you plan to use the pool, you will need to pay the $2 guest fee for each non-member guest (check must be written by a WRA member). Please keep food, decorations, and party activities outside the pool area, at the picnic tables.
WRA Organized Group: If you are a WRA organized group, such as the swim team or the tennis team, and you would like to host an event at the pool, please use the Request by WRA Organized Group form.
Outside Organizations: If you are an outside organization, such as Gunston Soccer or FHYAA, please use the Request by Outside Organization form.
