A Note on Safe Parking
If you have reserved a field you are welcome, and encouraged, to use our parking lot. However, we realize that carrying gym bags and equipment, and herding young children from the parking lot to the fields can be daunting. If you decide to park closer to the field, please remember that there is no parking on Dalebrook on the pool side of the street.
Also, please be considerate of our neighbors – don’t park too close to driveways, or block anybody in. But most importantly – please remember that the safety of our children is more important than a close parking spot to the field. Don’t park too close to the corners, as it makes it extremely difficult for drivers to see children trying to cross the street, or cars coming from the other direction.

3 – Back Ball Field
The Back Ball Field is located behind the pool area, against the tree line. It is suitable for t-ball, and may be reserved.
6 – Corner Ball Field
The corner ball field is located at the corner of Waynewood Boulevard and Potomac Lane. This field is suitable for t-ball, and may be reserved.
How to reserve a field
A Facilities Request form is required to reserve a field. Information, forms, and instructions are on the Reserve Fields and Facilities page.
5 – Playground Area
This is a non-fenced playground open to Waynewood residents and our neighbors. New equipment and benches were installed in 2006. There is a very large sandbox, and 3 picnic tables nearby, no reservations necessary! Reminder: dogs are not allowed on WRA property.
1 – Picnic Area
This is the grassy area at the corner of Waynewood Blvd. and Dalebrook Lane, and extends to the playground area. There are 3 picnic tables available to reserve. In most cases, it is first come, first serve, unless reserved for a party of 25 or more. The area is peppered with trees so is not suitable for a team practice.
4 – Grassy Field
This field is the grassy area that is bordered by the t-ball fields and the playground. It is big enough for a mini soccer team practice or a young lacrosse team practice. *Keep in mind t-ball fields are almost always in use during these reserved times. Reminder: dogs are not allowed on WRA property.
2 – Back Field
The back field borders Potomac Lane, the backyard fences of our Cyrus Place neighbors, and the back t-ball field. It is large enough to use for practice with a young soccer team or lacrosse team. There have been times when two soccer teams simultaneously used the field. Reminder: dogs are not allowed on WRA property.
