2013 Baseball Camps
Summer Program: The WRA offers two types of summer baseball camps: Youth Camp for 5 – 8 year-olds and Junior Camp for 9 – 12 year-olds.
- Youth Camps introduce 5 – 8 year-olds to baseball and emphasize fun, hand-eye coordination, batting, throwing, fielding, base running and appropriate sports conduct. They are 60 minutes in duration, have a maximum student to instructor ratio of 5:1, cost $35 per session.
Monday through Thursday 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Friday reserved as make-up day)
- Junior Camps introduce 9 – 12 year-olds to baseball skills, speed and agility, batting, fielding, base running, positioning, throwing and fundamental game plays. They are 90 minutes in duration, have maximum student to instructor ratio of 5:1, cost $55 per session.
Monday through Thursday 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (Friday reserved as make-up day)
The 2013 Baseball Camp schedule will run for three weeks, four days per week (Monday to Thursday), as follows:
- June 24 – 27
- July 8 — 11
- July 22 — 25
The forms you will need can be downloaded below (and are also found on the Forms page).
To register, place a completed Camp Registration Form, Sports Program Medical Waiver, and a check made payable to the WRA for the appropriate registration fee in the designated folder at the Front Desk at the pool. The forms and payment MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN ONE (1) WEEK before the session begins.
